Baptism*8 November 1543Agnes Willie was baptized on 8 November 1543 at Parish Register, Thorley, Hertfordshire, England, ; "Emmerit Willie was baptized - POSSIBLY intended for Emma, and POSSIBLY changed to Agnes". There is no Agnes in the register, and the NYGBR article seems to me to indicate this person is Agnes.1 
She was the daughter of John Willie and Joan Marsead. 
CAUTION*Agnes Williehas the following CAUTIONARY INFORMATION: "In several genealogies, notably one published in Cutter's New England Families (1913 ed. p.57), it was asserted that the widow Agnes was a sister of Thomas Miller, Bridgett Abbot and Margaret Hake. This error apparently arose from a misinterprtation of..." there is detailed info in the source that explains the correct parentage of Agnes.2
