186 John DYAR (1769-1832) RN 58 - house built by him, but lived in by son. Emma Marion (Otis) Chandler wrote on the back of the photo "Home of Uncle Frank & Aunt Polly Dyar. Built by Great Grandfather John Dyar (1769-1832) who m. Sarah Potter, June 12, 1794 in Nova Scotia, dau. wealthy merchant. Came to Ohio 1816 from Boston by oxteam 1816."
